Here is a little bit of my dark side. This piece started out with a doodle, and slowly evolved into this sketch. I loved going greyscale with the body and red with the blood. I added a random fork in the arm to show the viewer that no amount of pain will stop her from getting you. I used kitchen utensils and her walking around in socks to give the eerie impression that she was conformable in your home.

Make sure you always check in on your kids…

I think every artist needs to explore the darker side of their creativity. I hope to try my hand at some more gory subject matter in the future.
