Current Studios was asked to build a series of training videos for Loblaws Company Limited. I was tasked with leading a team of artists to create any required 3D elements to accompany the live action videos.
I worked on this scene that shows how to safely load a lift truck.
I really like the aesthetics of the toon shading in this animation. The toon shading gave the surface an industrial drafting aesthetic, but the reflections and the raytracing adds a sense of reality and substance to the geometry.
